1940s-themed swing dance... It’s 1945 and VJ day is here! America can finally let loose and celebrate!
The Compaq Big Band, featuring vocalist Elizabeth Embser, will amaze you with their exciting music of the era. Swing dancers: This dance is only an hour from Boston and there’s a great dance floor.
This swing dance is just one part of the fantastic 4-day winter getaway that is the Nor’Easter Island weekend event sponsored by the Greater Boston Vintage Society.
Doors Open and Swing Dance Lesson begins at 8:00 PM. The Compaq Big Band plays from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
