Step back in time to the 1940s, when Swing was King and a Juke Box Saturday night was just that.
You're invited to shake shimmie and roll to the harmonious melodies of the Compaq Big Band as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of USS Massachusetts, at the Capt. Thomas J. Hudner Jr. Memorial Building at Heritage State Park Visitors Center.
This 40s shuffle through time will include swing dance lessons, a cash bar, and a vintage 40s-style photobooth. It's a night you will long remember! 1940s dress welcome.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Introductory Swing Lesson and Demonstration by the "Boston Lindy Bomb Squad" 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Band plays from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Free parking available at the Fall River Carousel.
